New York Brunch

I crave for GOOD bagels from time to time. Although bagels have become more common in Japan, you don't always find real, good bagels. Today, my friend took me to suji's, where they served American brunch menu. I had their "New York Brunch" which was basically bagel with cream cheese and smoke salmon. Yum! I haven't had great bagels lately so I was very happy =)

Yu-Ching, I think we met via Dice.

The best bagels, hands down, in Tokyo are at Maruichi Bagel in Yoyogi Uehara. The owner/baker trained at a NYC bagel shop for 6 months (I think it was ess-a-bagel, but I forget.) Anyway, I love the bagels there.

Hello! Yes, we met at Dice's nabe party! Thanks for the info on Maruichi Bagel. Actually, my friend also told me about Maruichi bagel and she bought me one the other day. It was definitely the best bagel I have had in Tokyo. I wish they had more stores!!
